Some Zambia Wildlife Authority- ZAWA- officers at the Lusaka National Park have downed tools to press for improved conditions of service.

Some officers found at the Park located East of Lusaka told ZNBC news that they have gone without a salary increment for over three years.

One of the officers Noah Banda says all the workers are fighting for better conditions of service but management has decided to write them exculpatory letters.

The letters dated 10th May 2014, indicate that the aggrieved officers should exculpate themselves for taking part in unlawful strike.

And Senior officers found at the Park referred all queries to Management as they are not allowed to speak to the media.
