A MAN in Solwezi has been found dead in a soakaway tank in unclear circumstances.
Morris Muyumba, 26, of house number 37 Kazomba Township was found dead from suspected drowning last weekend.
North-Western Province deputy commissioner of police Micheal Nkaka said in an interview yesterday that Mr Muyumba was believed to have died between 16:00 hours on Friday and 07:00 hours on Saturday.
He said the deceased’s mother, Kutemba Muyumba reported that her son was found dead in the soakaway on Saturday morning.
Mr Nkaka said police officers had retrieved Mr Muyumba’s body and that a postmortem would be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.
