Zambian Fifa referee Gladys Lengwe has been selected by the world governing body to officiate at the forthcoming Fifa U-17 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2014, which will take place between 15 March and 4 April 2014.
Lengwe is one of the female match officials who have been selected from 30 different countries for this FIFA tournament. She has been appointed as a reserve referee and joins three other officials from the CAF region.
Amegee Aissata (Togo) has been appointed referee along with Dzodope Ayawa (Togo) and Rakotozafinoro Ldwine Pelagie (Madagascar) who were both appointed as assistant referees.
