Mwanza can only join CAF on secondment – Kalu

FOOTBALL Association of Zambia (FAZ) president Kalusha Bwalya says Football House will only be able to release Erick Mwanza if he joins the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) on secondment for the position of media officer.
Kalusha said in an interview that he would love to hold on to Mwanza as FAZ communications and media manager despite the latter receiving a job offer from CAF.
He said joining CAF would be good for Mwanza because he was an ambitious young man and that it was also an excellent opportunity to better his life.
“Erick has had this offer even last year and it’s a good opportunity for a young ambitious man like him to join CAF though as FAZ we would like to maintain him and also for the country to have Zambian representation at the CAF secretariat,” Kalusha said.
The FAZ chief said the nation would, however, be informed on the future of Mwanza.
