——-Tomorrow Investment, the constructor working on the K27.5 million Kaputa water project, has set February 2014 as the completion date for laying of water pipes.

Tomorrow Investment Site Foreman, Davies Mwango, said his company has so far done about 80 per cent of the works on lying of water pipes.

Mr Mwango said the works should have been completed by now but has been hampered by the presence of rocks in some areas.

He said this has now prompted the company to use rock blasting machines and explosives in its excavation works.

Mr Mwango said this in an interview with ZANIS in Kaputa today.

He added that the excavation works on the project is almost done except for these few areas where there is need for blasting rocks.

The Site Foreman has since thanked the people of Kaputa for their cooperation in the project.

Mr Mwango said he had challenges with the community in supporting their works but added that they are now happy and are looking forward to the completion of the project.

Government last year awarded Tomorrow Investment a project to rehabilitate the water and sewerage system in Kaputa district.
