Worshippers discover decomposed body in Kafue
Kafue,8thJanuary,2013,ZANIS — A decomposed body of unknown male person in the ages of 25-32 years , has been discovered in Kafue District.
ZANIS reports that Kafue district commissioner Grace Ngulube confirmed this in a statement released in Kafue today.
Ms Ngulube added that the body was discovered by worshippers as they went for prayers and fasting at the hill.
The district commissioner has since called on the worshippers to stop camping for more than a day to avoid further loss of lives.
Meanwhile Pastor John Jere of Home liberty church of Lusaka’s M’tendere Compound said the hills are among the places God directed him to conduct the prayer and fasting.
Pastor Jere who is currently leading about 50 members who were mostly women and children in prayer and fasting at the hills says people must avoid going for fasting individually as would need help in case they fell ill.
And Kafue district health inspector, Hagai Siyunda called on the people who use the hills for fasting to stop as the place is a health hazard to the district because of lack of sanitary facilities at the area.
The body of the deceased has since been disposed off by the district council workers at Jonas grave yard in Kafue district.
