LAFARGE Cement Zambia has given the Zambia Squash Association (ZSA) a huge boost towards the staging of this weekend’s Copperbelt Open senior Championship with a donation of K12, 000.
The Copperbelt Open senior tournament will be held at the Ndola Squash Club and will run from Friday October 4 right through to Sunday October 6.
ZSA president Norena Chiteba confirmed the development and described it as a major boost to not just the tournament but the association in its bid to improve the standards of the game across the country.
Lafarge, through its director for communications and corporate affairs Eugene Chungu said his company’s commitment to sport was clear and this donation to ZSA was evidence of that.
