Diggers face Kansanshi in Zambia Rugby Union (ZRU) Knock Out Cup

Newly crowned Buildcon-ZRU league champions Red Arrows have been handed a pre-quarterfinal match against Konkola while ‘Powerhouse’ Lusaka will be up against Kitwe Playing Fields (KPF).
According to the draws released by ZRU chairperson of competitions Moono Muleya, other fixtures sees Diggers B hosting Green Buffaloes with Roan playing ‘Killer Bees’ Ndola Wanderers.
Mufulira have a date against Chibuluma while Kabwe outfit Prisons take on Nchanga as Green Eagles have a tie against Nkwazi.
The quarter-finals would be played on October 5 with the semi finals set for October 12 while the final would be on a week later.
Full fixture: Diggers v Kansanshi, Prisons v Nchanga, Eagles v Nkwazi, Diggers B v Buffaloes, Arrows v Konkola, Roan v Ndola, Mufulira v Chibuluma, KPF v Lusaka.
Winners of the Diggers v Kansanshi match will face either Prisons or Nchanga in the quarter-finals with the Eagles v Nkwazi winner playing either Buffaloes or Diggers B and the winners from these quarterfinals will play each other in the semi-finals.
The other group sees the winners of the Arrows v Konkola match taking on the victor of the Roan v Ndola tie in the quarterfinals with Mufulira v Chibuluma winner progressing to play either KPF or Lusaka and the winners from these quarter-finals will play each other in the semi-finals.
