The Zimbabwe Warriors have left for Ndola, Zambia for the final decider of who goes through to next year’s African Nations Championships (CHAN) finals.
Before the team’s departure, an exuberant Warriors Captain Masimba Mambare hinted he and his teammates have a credible chance of making it to the CHAN finals because every game is different.
The Warriors will go all out in search of a victory to qualify for next year CHAN finals set for South Africa.
Hopes are that the nil-all draw posted at Rufaro last Sunday will not come back to haunt the team whose other option for qualification is to force a scoring draw.
Away from home pressures, expectations abound that the team will play its normal game without any anxiety but rather transfer all anxiety to their Zambian counterparts who will be under pressure to please their fans on home turf.
A defeat will however cut Zimbabwe’s consecutive visits to the CHAN competition which was incepted in 2009.
