Serious projects needs close monitoring

 

Siavonga, July 17, ZANIS ——Chief Sinadambwe of the Tonga people in Siavonga district has called on government through the Road Development Agency (RDA) to be closely monitor the construction of the bottom road.

 

The traditional leader said that there is need for commitment and close monitoring of massive investments like the bottom road because it involves a lot of money whose usage should not go to waste.

 

Chief Sinadambwe said this in an interview with ZANIS today that the bottom road construction should be heavily built especially the bridges so that it can be able to stand for a long period of time.

 

The traditional leader observed that once the project is completed it will open up new investments in various sectors of the economy in Siavonga district and other surrounding districts.

 

He explained that so far the road and construction works are progressing well and that it has reached an advanced stage.

 

The chief commended government for undertaking the bottom road project saying it will help in improving tourism and agricultural development in the province.
