Luampa District Commissioner Richard
Simbula has appealed to well wishers in the country to help Meimawa Kalasha to look after his family.

Mr. Kalasha is a physically challenged person, who looks after his aged mother and his three late brothers’ children who are all in school.

He only depends on proceeds from his small vegetable and has no wheel
chair.

The District Commissioner observed that physically challenged persons are faced with a number of problems hence society should pay attention to their plight.

Mr. Kalasha of Kanyenze village wakes up every morning to till land and
irrigate his small garden despite being a physically
challenged person.

He struggles to sale some vegetables within the community as he
cannot travel to Luampa mission due to lack of transport.
