Provincial Minister Brigadier General Benson Kapaya has called on the Zambia Army Ladies Mfuti Club to embrace other defence forces and work as a family in their activities.

General Kapaya says it is encouraging to see the work that the Zambia Army ladies club is doing and hoped that they will embrace their women folk in other defense wings.

He said it is gratifying that the Army Ladies club visited Luapula province to familiarize themselves with the activities being undertaken by their members in Mansa.

He observed that information flow to remote areas such as Luapula province is difficulty and that the visit by the Zambia Army Mfuti club from Lusaka will go a long way in boosting the morale of the women in Mansa.

ZANIS reports that the Provincial Minister said this when Zambia Army Ladies Club patron Christine Mihova who is also wife to Army commander Paul Mihova paid a courtesy call on him at his office in Mansa this morning.

General Kapaya told the Zambia Army Ladies Matron  the club in Mansa is co-operative and works hard going by the activities which they have being holding.

The Zambia Army Ladies Mfuti club from Lusaka is in Mansa  on a 2 day familiarization

tour of their sister club to check on the projects that are being undertaken.

The Zambia Army Ladies Club implements activities throughout the country among them Sensitization on cervical cancer, HIV/AIDS, and Gender Based Violence.
