Barclays reiterates its commitment to social responsibility

Barclays Bank Zambia PLC Limited has given out a total of 20 Iphones and Ipads valued at KR6000 each  to its customers during the ultimate experience Campaign draw conducted in Lusaka this morning.

Speaking during the draw, Acting Barclays Retail Director Kabanda Lilanda reiterated the bank’s commitment to social responsibility through meeting its customers’ needs.

Mr. Lilanda said since the onset of the campaign, the bank has spent about K1.5 million rebased in prices in line with the bank’s goal of giving back to customers.

He said the ultimate experience is tailor made for salaried section of society whose benefits includes affordable loans, no minimum balance mobile banking and internet baking.

Mr. Lilanda noted that due to the overwhelming response the draw has received from clients, the bank has decided to extend the campaign which begun in October last year to the end of next month and  will see two lucky winners walk away with a Toyota Hilux in the final draw.

The draw was observed by Delloit and Touch and saw Charles Chilengwa, Lawrence Mukanda, Hidden Mulambya win Ipads among other lucky winners.
