Fifa happy with Zambian football development

World Soccer governing body Fifa has expressed delight with the progress the Football Association of Zambia continues to make in football development; stressing that Football House’s commitment to excellence would continue taking Zambian football forward.

A delegation from Fifa which arrived in Lusaka last weekend reckons Zambian football growth will expand from the success of the men’s game to the women’s following renewed commitment and resolutions of the just ended first ever Women Football Com-Unity seminar.

Between Monday 18th and Thursday 22nd February, Zambian football recorded another milestone as the country hosted the Fifa Com-Unity seminar in Lusaka. The seminars are aimed at promoting women’s football, and attracting investment in the women’s game from other sectors within the community in a given country. The programmes help members to build their capacity in the areas of relationship management, communication and marketing.
