CONGRATULATORY MESSAGES FLOOD ZAMBIA STATE HOUSE

Leaders of Countries and organizations across the world have continued sending Congratulatory Messages to President Hakainde Hichilema for winning the August 12, 2021 Presidential election.

The Messages are from leaders of Mozambique, Angola, Ghana, Namibia, Russia and Czech Republic.Other Congratulatory messages are from Italy , Senegal , Egypt , Turkey , Morocco SADC and the European Union among other others.Russian President Vladmir Putin is expectant that President Hichilema will strengthen the relations between Zambia and his country for the benefit of the citizens.Apart from this the Russian President hopes President Hichilema will help in the promotional of stability on the African Continent.He says the election of Mr. Hichilema as the country’s 7th President shows the Confidence that Zambians have in him.He says this is also a confirmation of Zambia’s aspiration of a peaceful and united country.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari says the win by Mr. Hichilema is a relief to lovers of democracy and has urged him to heal the wound of divisions that might have been caused during campaigns.And Angolan President João Lourenço says the victory shows the faith and Confidence that the Zambians have placed in President Hichilema to meet their aspirations of having a prosperous country.In his congratulatory Message to President Hichilema, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro said his country stands ready to work with Zambia to improve areas of mutual interest.

And Senegalese President Macky Sall said his Country stands ready to work with Zambia to achieve the common ambitions for the African Continent.Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoan said he is hopeful that during President Hichilema’s reign relations between the two countries will be strengthened based on mutual interest.And Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi said the victory shows faith in President Hichilema to achieve progress and stability for the nation.Meanwhile, Czech Republican President Miloš Zeman said the recently held election has shown how strong the institutions of democracy are in Zambia and that the country has provided a good example to other countries.And the European Union Commission through its President Ursula Leyen has promised to work with President Hichilema’s government.Meanwhile, EFF leader in South Africa Julius Malema congratulated President Hichilema for winning in what he called free and fair elections.
