Politicians will not get favoured treatment when arrested because all people are equal before the law, Minister of Home Affairs Stephen Kampyongo has said.

“No person is above the law in this country. If you have committed an offence, you will be treated in accordance with the law, whether you are a politician or an ordinary Zambian,” he said.

Mr Kampyongo said this when he featured on the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation Sunday Interview programme, noting that there will be no sacred cows in the application of the law..
