The government of Cuba has appointed His Excellency Angel Villa to act as Cuban Ambassador to Zambia.
Villa is the current Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the African Union in Addis Ababa.
This follows the expulsion of Nelson Vilas as Cuban Ambassador to Zambia.
The Cuban government has assured the Republic of Zambia long-standing relations that have existed between the two countries.
Government of Cuba states that Ambasador Vila will act until a new representative is sent.
This according to a statement issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs
