Kambwili released, must report to woodlands police

NDC consultant Chishimba Kambwili has been released after being detained by police and immigration authorities.

Dr. Kambwili was detained for close to three hours at simon Mwansa kapwepwe airport.

NDC National Security chairperson Menyani Zulu has confirmed the release of Dr. Kambwili.

Mr. Zulu, Dr. Kambwili has been told by authorities to report himself to woodlands police station tomorrow.

Dr. Kambwili was in south Africa where he was undertaking routine medical check ups.

Mr. Zulu said even copper belt police commissioner charity Katanga is blank on why Dr. Kambwili was detained.

According to Mr Zulu, police on the Copper belt had received instructions from higher authorities to detain the NDC consultant.
