The Southern African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) Executive Director Boniface Cheembe says all stakeholders should be involved in the debate on the proposal to limit the numbers of times a person can be a presidential candidate in elections.

Mr. Cheembe says it is important that this debate is conducted in a constructive manner that will allow all political parties make input.

He says his organisation has taken note of the demeaning statements towards individuals who are for the motion.

Mr. Chembe is hopeful that the debate will lead into something that requires tangible action and that everyone will remain calm as they advance their opinions in a non-violent manner.
