The Jesuit Center for Theological Reflection (JCTR) in Livingstone says it supports remarks made by Prison Care and Counseling Association (PRISCCA) to review Prison laws to allow conjugal rights for Prisoners.
JCTR District Outreach Regional Officer George Makaha says there have been reports where men have sex with fellow men, which he described as worrisome and against human nature.

Mr.Makaha said once conjugal right is allowed, it will reduce Sodomy among inmates.
He added that once the conjugal right to Prisoners is allowed, it will also reduce HIV/ AIDS cases in Prisons adding that some people enter Correctional Services with a negative status but leave the premises HIV positive.
Mr.Makaha hopes that sex between spouses will be done systematically in secret rooms and secured if the Prison laws are reviewed.
He said this in an interview with Zambezi FM News recently.
