GOVERNMENT has closed the National Registration, Passport and Citizenship offices in Lusaka to prevent the further spread of cholera.

And Lusaka yesterday recorded 114 new cholera cases and three deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities to 61.
Minister of Home Affairs Stephen Kampyongo (pictured) said at a media briefing yesterday that the National Registration, Passport and Citizenship offices will remain closed until further notice.
