His Excellency, President Edgar Chagwa Lungu has told the ruling party Officials and civil servants to work together in order for the PF government to realise its promises and to foster development.

Speaking during a hall meeting with Civil servants and party officials in Kaputa district of the Northern province today, President Lungu said the ruling party and government are two sides of the same Coin and should work together.

“As civil servants, you need to get a hold of the party manifesto and understand exactly what our people bought into. We were voted into government because of the promises we made and you will find these promises in our party manifesto,” said the Head of State.

“We will not hesitate to part company with any civil servants that frustrate government’s effort to deliver development all because you have failed to understand our agenda and policies as stated in the party manifesto,” he added.

Earlier on during a thank you rally at the Kaputa grounds, President Lungu told Kaputa residents that he was still committed to his campaign promises and will personally supervise the completion of a Hospital, three Clinics, water projects and the Kaputa-Nsama-Mporokoso road.

On his three day working visit to Northern province, Republican President Lungu is today scheduled to hold meetings with civil servants and ruling party officials, to inspect developmental projects and to hold thank you rallies in Kaputa, Nsama and Mporokoso districts.
