Scott, Masebo snubbed

RESIDENTS of Chipata yesterday snubbed a much-publicised United Party for National Development (UPND) rally at Mchini grounds addressed by former vice-president Guy Scott and former Chongwe member of Parliament Sylvia Masebo.

The few who attended the rally were instead chanting pro-Patriotic Front slogans and openly telling Dr Scott that they would vote for Lungu because of his good performance and humility.
UPND Chipata Central parliamentary candidate Nedson Undi told those that attended the meeting not to be discouraged by the low turnout because vehicles which were ferrying cadres were still on the way to the grounds.
