Missing 4 year old Nkwazi boy found dead

POLICE on the Copperbelt say the four-year-old boy of Nkwazi township in Ndola who went missing on Friday has been found dead.

And Muchinga Police commissioner Auxensio Daka says police have arrested a 22-year-old shopkeeper of Ntindi village in chief Waikwika for defiling a 10-year-old.
Copperbelt police commissioner Charity Katanga said Israel Phiri of house number 2666 Nkwazi compound in Ndola went missing on March 26, and was found dead in a blue Toyota Spacio registration number ACT 814 belonging to Francis Phiri of house number 2895, Nkwazi compound.

“At 07:00 hours today (yesterday), the deceased was found with burns on the abdomen and the face. Hot water is suspected to have been poured on him. The body has been taken to Arthur Davison hospital. This case is still under investigations. The owner of the car is on the run as a crowd (mob) wanted to attack him,” said Katanga.
In Muchinga, Daka said the 10-year-old was defiled on March 26, around 18:00 hours.

He has named the suspected as Adam Simukonda.
“The suspect was employed by the victim’s uncle as a shop keeper. It’s during this time when they used to have sex. It was discovered when the victim complained of pain in the vagina to the aunt and mentioned the accused,” said Daka, who added that the suspect has since been arrested and will appear in court soon.
