Expel violent cadres – Lungu

President Edgar Lungu has directed the expulsion of party members perpetrating violence.

President Lungu says he will not condone violence in the ruling party, stating that violence if left unchecked would cost the PF, hence violent members should be dealt with accordingly.
Speaking when he addressed party members at Petauke boarding school today, President Lungu says Zambians do not want Political parties which are violent.
He says he will not support anyone who will be found wanting, but will make sure that the law takes it course.
And President Lungu has appealed to PF members as well as leaders to work hard ahead of the general election.
He says party members should be sensitized on the 50%+1 and other clauses contained in the amended constitution.
And PF national youth Chairman Stephen Kampyongo urged party member to encourage new party members to register as voters.
Mr Kampyongo says this will enable the party amass more votes in the coming elections.
And PF deputy secretary general Mumbi Phiri urged party members to embrace MMD and other new members joining the party.
