Miles SampaMiles Sampa has resigned as Commerce, Trade and Industry Deputy Minister Miles Sampa has resigned.
In his purported letter of resignation to President Edgar Lungu dated 29th October, 2015, Mr Sampa says his resignation is with immediate effect.

 

He says he wants to focus on contributing towards strengthening the ruling party to promote unity and also ensure party sustainability in 2016 and beyond.
Mr Sampa says he feels this way he will be of effective use to President Lungu and the Patriotic Front at large.
The Matero lawmaker has since thanked President Lungu for the opportunity to serve in his administration.
When contacted by QFM for a comment, Mr Sampa asked to be called later.
