Police in Lusaka have arrested a man who has been swindling people of their money purporting to be working for Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company (LWSC).
Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company Marketing and Public Relations Manager Topsy Sikalinda has told QFM News in a statement that the man identified as Gift Mulenga is currently detained at Kamwala Second Class Police Post.
Mr. Sikalinda has explained that Mr. Mulenga has swindled quiet a number of Lusaka residents on the pretext that he works for the water utility company in the Human Resource department and that he would help them get employment at the company.
He says the man in question has not only swindled the people of their monies, but also other items such as laptops, mobile phones among other items.
