Lwandamina declares Chipolopolo ready

The Zambia National Football team Tuesday evening faces Gabon in an international friendly game to be played at the National Heroes stadium in Lusaka.

Winston Kalengo and Boyd Mkandawire have recovered from injuries sustained during the Kenya game.

Coach George Lwandamina has declared the lads ready for the encounter which will have all the professionals who featured in the Kenyan game.

 

 

The Chipolopolo will be looking for another victory 48hours after beating Kenya and aim for a better position on the FIFA Rankings.

And soccer fans have started trooping to Football House buying tickets.

 

 

Football Association of Zambia-FAZ- Communication Manager Nkweto Tembwe says tickets will also be sold from the stadium to allow those working an opportunity to buy.

Meanwhile, ZESCO says Heroes Stadium will be spared from load shedding.

ZESCO Limited Spokesperson Henry Kapata said the Stadium has its own feeder and assured soccer fans that there will be no load shedding.
