Woman arrested for theft of boyfriend’s car

POLICE in Chingola have apprehended a 24-year-old woman in connection with the theft of her boyfriend’s vehicle, Copperbelt commissioner of police Joyce Kasosa has said.
Ms Kasosa said in an interview on Monday that incident happened between Saturday, August 22 at 23:00 hours and Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 04:00 hours.

 
Ms Kasosa said Esther Kasongo, of house number 5, Kapwepwe Road in Kabundi Extension was sleeping in a hotel room with her boyfriend, Moses Mwaba, 24 of Nchanga-North when a Toyota Corolla registration number ACZ 6476 went missing from the premises.

She said Mr Mwaba reported to the police that he had put the car keys in his shoes but was surprised to find the door to the hotel room open and his vehicle missing when he and Ms Katongo woke up on Sunday morning.
