A WITNESS has told the Kitwe High Court how she got scared and ran away after she realised that her neighbour was unconscious.
This is in a case in which Evangel Pentecostal Assemblies of God Ministries pastor Floyd Pule is charged with the murder of his wife, Bahati Kabaghe.

It is alleged that Pule on February 10 this year in Chingola, murdered Ms Kabaghe.
Pule denied the charge when he appeared for plea before Ndola High Court judge Mary Mulanda sitting in Kitwe.
When the matter came up for trial last week, Vanessa Kalumba, who was a neighbour to Pule and Ms Kabaghe , testified that on the fateful day, she found Ms Kabaghe lying next to a subwoofer that was stained with blood.
She narrated that Pule asked her to help out and begged her to wake Ms Kabaghe up.

“He started shaking her but she was not responding so I lifted her head up. I noticed blood coming out of her mouth, she had bitten her tongue and it was swollen,” Ms Kalumba said.
She recalled that blood was oozing from Ms Kabaghe’s nose and on the left side of her head.

“So, I put her head down and I got scared and ran away,” Ms Kalumba said.
She told the court that she rushed out and informed her husband about what was happening and that together, they woke up the landlord.
She narrated that she quickly rushed back to Pule’s house to cover Ms Kabaghe because she was naked.

Ms Kalumba said efforts to resuscitate Ms Kabaghe failed and she was pronounced dead on arrival at Nchanga South Hospital.
And Yaki Mulimba, 37, told the court that he identified the body of Kabaghe to the doctor who undertook the first post mortem at the cemetery on February 13, this year.
Mr Mulimba testified that on April 15, this year, he again identified the deceased’s body to another doctor who conducted the second post mortem.
Trial continues on August 21, this year.

  1. So called pastors are messing up the christian values. Especially these chaps who ordain themselves contrary to biblical teachings. I hope he is given the mandatory sentence for this gruesome murder he committed. All people deserve life and this so claimed randy pastor must know.
