President Edgar Lungu has called on Zambians to reject leaders who promote tribalism.

The President has called on all citizens to distance such people because tribalism has no room in Zambia which is a unitary state.

ZNBC’s Kennedy Bwalya reports that President Lungu was speaking on arrival at Kasama airport in enroute to Mungi district where he is due to witness the coronation of Henry Kanyanta Sosala has paramount Chief Chitimukulu.

The President says he has traveled to Kasama to consolidate his position that Zambia should remain a unitary state at all times.

President Lungu has called on all Zambians to remain united.

The coronation of Paramount Chief Chitimukulu will be followed by the Ukusefya Pang’wena traditional ceremony of the Bemba on Saturday August 1,2015.

Vice President Inonge Wina will officiate at the Ukusefya Pang’wena traditional ceremony..
