UNDER-23 national team coach Fighton Simukonda has recalled South Africa-based midfielder Mukuka Mulenga for the 2015 Senegal CAF Under-23 Championship qualifier against Ivory Coast.
Mukuka of Mamelodi Sundowns was not part of the squad that beat

Botswana 3-1 on aggregate in the first round in May this year.
Egypt-based forward Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba is part of the provisional squad regrouping in Lusaka tomorrow.
Simukonda has selected 26 players.

Zambia will be away to Ivory Coast in the last round first leg on July 19 with the return tie after a fortnight.
The winners will qualify for the CAF Under-23 Championship set for November 28 to December 12 where the top three teams will progress to the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.
Simukonda said in an interview yesterday that late reporting to camp will not be tolerated.

“This is a very important game and we shall not tolerate late coming. Players should report to camp on time. We have given them ample time. We expect a full squad when we get into camp unless otherwise,” he said.
He said the junior Chipolopolo are eager to qualify for the Senegal finals.

“The last time the under-23 was in Ivory Coast…we lost 4-1 but we won’t let that happen again. This time we have no option but to qualify. We shall fight tooth and nail,” Simukonda said.
Zambia won 2-0 in Chingola in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games qualifier but lost 1-4 to a Salomon Kalou-led Ivory Coast in Abidjan.
