George Lwandamina is not underestimating 2016 Chan qualifiers opponents Mozambique.

Zambia will face Mozambique in the two sides final round qualifier in October for a place at next year’s Rwanda finals.

Chipolopolo booked their final stage spot after a 6-5 post-match penalty win over Namibia following a 3-3 aggregate scoreline.

Mozambique on the other hand cruised to the final stage with a 9-1 aggregate result after beating Seychelles 4-0 away on Saturday.

“Our preparations start now for Mozambique, it will not be an easy game,” Lwandamina said.

“Namibia was a tough game and I don’t think the boys will be complacent going into the Mozambique match.”

Zambia had a difficult run in the first round losing 2-1 away to Namibia in the first leg after taking a 1-0 halftime lead on June 21 and were pushed to the wire in the final leg on July 4 when they were level at 1-1 at halftime before snatching a late 2-1 win to force the tie to be decided via shoot-outs.

“Going into the Mozambique match we will play attacking football but not leaving our rear vulnerable that is out strategy,” Lwandamina said.

Zambia will host Mozambique in the first leg on October 17 and will visit The Mambas in Maputo on October 24.
