325 firms to exhibit at ZITF

MINISTER of Commerce, Trade and Industry Margaret Mwanakatwe says 325 local and foreign companies will exhibit at this year’s Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Ndola.
Mrs Mwanakatwe told a press briefing in Lusaka yesterday that out of the 325 companies, 304 are local while 21 are foreign.
The minister also said Turkey, Poland and Ghana will be exhibiting at the fair for the first time.
The theme of this year’s show, scheduled for July 1 to July 7, is: `Prosperity through business reforms and linkages’.
Mrs Mwanakatwe said the ZITF will provide a platform for Zambia to position itself for the next 50 years.
