TWO sex workers were shot and wounded in the early hours of yesterday by two men after a disagreement.
Lusaka Province Commissioner Charity Katanga said the women were shot just after midnight near Ndeke Hotel in Lusaka’s Longacres and they have been admitted to the University Teaching Hospital.

Ms Katanga said a sex worker of Garden Township had a quarrel with a client, who threatened to shoot her, prompting her to run towards her fellow sex workers.

The man shot at her but the bullets instead hit two other sex workers.
The men were driving a Mercedes Benz with a number plate ALR 8192, which turned out to be a number for a motor bike.
In another incident, a woman of Ng’ombe Township was shot and wounded by a man driving a Toyota RunX on Friday night in Rhodes Park.
