Lusaka Diocese Archbishop Telephore Mpundu has warned people against thinking that a perfect constitution is the only solution to the countries problems.

In an Interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka, Archbishop Mpundu says it is not the constitution that matters but the people that are charged with the responsibility to run institutions of governance.

He says even countries that are deemed to have good constitutions still face many social and economical challenges.

Bishop Mpundu says what Zambia needs is a culture of honesty and integrity from people in government.

He says there is need for moral realignment especially for people aspiring for office in the country.

The Archbishop has however welcomed dialogue on the constitution making process saying it is the only through exhausting all avenues of dialogue that all Zambian will appreciate the process.
