Malawi national football team coach Young Chimodzi has announced a 20-man squad for the international friendly match against Zambia on Sunday.

Malawi arrived in Lusaka on Thursday.

Both teams will use the friendly match scheduled for Nkoloma Stadium to prepare for the 2015 Cosafa Cup to be hosted by South Africa.

Malawi play Mozambique at the quarter final stage on May 24 while a day later defending champions Zambia will play the winner of Group A which comprises Namibia, Seychelles, Mauritius and Zimbabwe.

The 2015 Cosafa Cup group stage matches will be played from 17th to 22nd May.

Goalkeepers: Mcdonald Harawa, Richard Chipuwa;

Defenders: Francis Mlimbika, Lucky Malata, John Lanjesi, Bashir Maunde, Yamikani Fodya, Pilirani Zonda;

Midfielders: Chikoti Chirwa, Micium Mhone, John Banda, Fischer Kondowe, Enerst Tambe, Malumbo Gondwe, Victor Limbani, Isaac Kaliati;

Forwards: Peter Wadabwa, Muhammad Sulumba, Amos Khamula, Tizgowere Kumwenda
