Government says it is not shaken by unwarranted attacks on Republican President Edgar Lungu.

Deputy Minister in the office of the Vice President Steven Kampyongo says it is sad that some individuals have opted to attack the President over his health.

Mr. Kampyongo says Zambians will not be swayed by such attacks as they are capable of making their own decisions.

He says President Lungu’s critics should realize that the head of state was given the mandate by the people of Zambia.

Meanwhile Mr. Kampyongo has urged Christians to discourage their leaders from using the church for political gain.

He has charged that those that want to politic should leave the pulpit and join politics.
