Civil rights activist Brebner Changala says he still maintains that the Zambian people deserve to know the exact circumstances which led President Michael Sata to his death.
Mr. Changala says the late President was a state property and therefore the illness that led to his death must be made known to the people.
He has told Qfm News by telephone that his demand is based on the manner the period prior his death was handled.
Mr. Changala says he has been wondering how President Sata could have died when government through then republican vice president Guy Scott had been assuring the nation on the floor of Parliament that the President was in good health.
He says this is in addition to the affidavit Secretary to Cabinet Roland Msiska had submitted at the Lusaka High to suggest that the late President was fit.
Mr Changala states that he believes both Dr. Scott and Dr. Msiska owe the Zambian people a serious explanation.
Mr. Changala says he will at an appropriate time push for the establishment of a commission of inquiry to ascertain circumstances which led to death of the late President.
