Lusambo blames PF,UPND for MMD poor election performance

MMD Die Hard National Youth Coordinated Bowman Lusambo says the annihilation of MMD party structures by the Patriotic Front and the United Party for National Development greatly contributed to the party’s poor performance in the just ended presidential election.

Addressing a media briefing in Lusaka this morning, Mr. Lusambo says as soldiers of the party, they have resolved to regroup and soldier on in mobilizing the party under the leadership of Dr. Nevers Mumba.

Mr. Lusambo says they have resolved to intensify the party mobilization drive in readiness for the 2016 general election and ensure the party bounces back to power.

He has since called on party members that abandoned the party to go back and help rebuild the party.
Mr Lusambo says this is not the time for retribution, but that party members should put their differences aside and forge ahead.

And Mr. Lusambo says as youths, they are eagerly waiting to see tangible solutions to be offered by President Edgar Lungu’s administration with regard to youth empowerment.

He stresses that mere rhetoric of what should be done for youths will not be accepted.
Mr Lusambo says youths are demanding firm, tangible and actionable solutions to addressing the challenges they are facing.
