Movement for Multiparty Democracy – MMD president Nevers Mumba has promised to continue with the developmental projects that were being implemented by the late President Michael Sata.
Dr Mumba says he will not abandon the current infrastructure development programmes because the projects are adding value to people’s lives.
He however notes that most of the projects being implemented by the Patriotic Front are a brain-child of the MMD and were started by the MMD
Dr. Mumba was speaking in an interview with ZNBC News in Mansa where he was canvassing for votes ahead of the January 20, Presidential election.
And MMD National Secretary Mwansa Mbulakulima is calling for peaceful elections.
Mr Mbulakulima, who is Luapula’s Chembe MP, says there is need for Zambians to conduct this election in the peaceful manner so that Zambia can continue with her reputation as the beacon of peace in the region.
