Ballot papers arrival date changed

The transportation of ballot papers from South Africa to Zambia has been brought forward.

 

The ballot papers for the January 20, 2015 presidential election from Johannesburg to Lusaka will now be tomorrow, January 9, 2015 instead of Saturday, January 10, 2015.

 

According to the latest flight schedule released by the Electoral Commission of Zambia in Johannesburg this morning, the chartered Cargo plane flight ET 3808/B77F will depart Oliver Tambo International Airport at 13:00 hours on Friday.

 

The plane is expected to arrive at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka at 14:45 hours.
