Civil servants warned against misuse of resources
Milenge, January 3, 2015, ZANIS—Milenge District Commissioner Mukupa Mutale has warned civil servants in the district against engaging in politics and misusing government resources during this election period.
Speaking when he addressed civil servants recently, Mr Mutale said the use of government resources during elections should not be entertained by anyone.
ZANIS reports that the DC said civil servants in the districts were the eyes of government hence the need for them to refrain from the vice.
He warned that any civil servant who will be found engaging in politics or using government resources during elections will be dealt with.
He further advised that civil servants have families to look after and should not put their jobs at risk.
Mr Mutale urged the civil servants to adhere to the government code of ethics at all costs.
