Lukulu DC counsels youths against violence

Lukulu, December 26, ZANIS — Lukulu District Commissioner Precious Muyenga has called on youths from all political parties to respect and protect one another.

Ms. Muyenga said that youths should base their campaigns on issues and not engage in vandalizing each other’s political parties’ campaign materials.

She strongly warned that she does not want confusion in the district but that peace and harmony should prevail.

Recently there has been reports of rivalry between youths from the Patriotic Front (PF) and United Party for National Development (UPND).

Meanwhile, Ms Muyenga yesterday took time to meet youths at the old market to caution them against engaging in immoral activities during the festive season.

Ms. Muyenga also met with local tax drivers and warned them to take safety measures seriously as they drive on roads.
