Govt, two universities partner to improve education

Cavendish University Zambia has entered into a partnership agreement with the International College of Fellows to provide high quality education to the Zambian people.


International College of Fellows President Joshua Banda said his college and Cavendish University will work with government to improve education levels in the country.


Dr Banda said education is key in the development of the country as no nation can prosper without it.

He said this during the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between International College of Fellows and Cavendish University Zambia in Lusaka today.

Dr Banda said that the partnership between the two universities and government will improve and promote education standards that will transform the lives of students into productive citizens.

And Cavendish University Zambia fellow Professor Charles Mwape called for strengthening of relations between government and the two institutions.


Prof. Mwape explained that the two Universities will also reach out to rural parts of the country in order to provide people with an opportunity to access high quality education.
