Barclays builds workshop for Mulelemwana centre

Barclays Bank-Zambia is working towards providing young people with financial enterprises and life skills.

 

Barclays Bank Agriculture Specialist, Gracious Hamatala said this would be achieved by supporting individuals, businesses, institutions and the government in order to develop the nation.

 

Mr. Hamatala said this in Lusaka today when Barclays bank handed over a carpentry workshop to Mulelemwana youth skills training centre.

 

He said in line with its citizenship agenda, Barclays bank has continued to work with partners that share the financial institution’s vision.

 

Mr. Hamatala said since 2012, Barclays bank has continued to partner with Mulelemwana skills training centre through undertaking various activities in an effort to develop the centre.

 

And Mulelemwana board chairperson Prisca Sampa thanked Barclays bank for providing a friendly environment where students will now be operating in.

 

Ms. Sampa commended the bank for the support it has rendered to the skills training center through infrastructure development and training material.
