Hichilema thanks statesmen and women for endorsements

It is a great honour for me and our party the UPND to receive the endorsements and support of great statesmen and women some of them freedom fighters.

Equally a huge challenge for the UPND to receive the support of fellow opposition political party leaders as was the case yesterday.

I also wish to confirm that yesterday, I gladly signed a social contract with members of the Grand coalition on the Constitution making process with a commitment to deliver a people driven constitution before the 2016 general elections. I personally belong to this coalition as well and will not let them down.

We are moving on to other parts of the country from today and explain our policies. We are receiving calls from all over the country and we hope to reach as many places of our country as possible within this short period.

But please keep mobilising in your areas even before we reach there.

We need to remain united and peaceful as a country.
