350 vulnerable households get farming Inputs

Nakonde, November 26, 2014,ZANIS…The Ministry of Community Development Mother and Child Health has sent farming inputs for 350 vulnerable beneficiaries in Nakonde district.

This was confirmed to the Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) by Nakonde District Community Development Mother and Child Officer  Morris Kabanda today.

Mr Kabanda said his department had therefore started the distribution of farming inputs to the vulnerable but viable households.

Mr. Kabanda said Nakonde District has received farming inputs for 350 beneficiaries dotted across the district.

Mr Kabanda added that so far four satellite committees namely Mwenzo, Waitwika, Old fife and C-one have been given D-Compound and Urea fertilizers.

He said the other areas that will benefit from the farming inputs include Madwa, Chiyanga and the disabled.
