Kasama businessman put on his defence

 

Kasama , November  18 th, 2014, ZANIS ——   A prominent Kasama businessman charged with aggravated robbery has been put on his defence after the Kasama High Court found him with a case to answer.

 

 

This is in a matter in which George Mutale Mudala, 30, of Musa village in Chief Nkolemfumu’s area in Kasama is alleged to have used force and allegedly robbed K7, 500 from Peter Chongo, a businessman of Kapatu village in Mporokoso district

 

 

The incident happened at a named Kasama Guest House on 11^th February, 2013 between 21:00 and 22:00 hours.

 

 

When the matter came up before Ndola based Judge Jenny Kabuka, Mudala was put on his defence after being found with a case to answer.

 

 

Mudala who is being represented by Chitabu and Associates of Ndola has since called two witnesses.

 

 

Justice Kabuka has set Thursday, 27^th November, 2014 as the day of judgement.
