Sinkamba for President

Opposition Green Party leader PETER SINKAMBA has announced his candidature in the forthcoming presidential election.

Mr. SINKAMBA has told Znbc News that he will launch his campaign in Kitwe this Friday.

He said the campaign will be launched at the Green party secretariat and will be presceded by a march past in the central business area.

The Green Party leader says he will tour all the provincial centers to sale his candidature.

Mr. SINKAMBA says his party has since set aside One million kwacha cash for the Presidential election campaigns.

He has explained that well-wishers are expected to pour in more money into the Green party presidential campaign bid in due course.

In its manifesto, the Green party is advocating for the legalization of medicinal marijuana, job and wealth creation.

Mr. SINKAMBA said if Zambia starts growing marijuana for export, this will swell the country’s Balance of Payments Support.

He said Zambia will in turn be making over 15 billion United States dollars annually from marijuana exports.

The Green Party also plans to re-align the defence and security wings, abolish certain constitutional offices and create new public institutions.

Mr. SINKAMBA has described himself as a frontrunner saying his campaign message has been well received by all.
